All the travel and refinements, plus MX wheels.

A bigger wheel up front, geometry updates, Glovebox storage, and suspension improvements add up to an even more fine-tuned package.

SEND IT ANYWHERE
Load up the van, hit the road, climb a mountain, hammer it back down, huck the road gap, throw the bike back in the van, drive to the bike park and do laps on laps. Hell, you could even rock up to the startline on it. The Nomad's forte is being ready and willing to go wherever, whenever. The only thing it needs is a rider willing to press send.

BUILT TO TAKE A BEATING
Ridden hard and put away wet. If you're out riding as much as you'd like to be or you're throwing the bike in the back of the van before relocating to the next riding spot then it's nice to know that all Santa Cruz bikes are built to last. Lifetime warranty and rider support.

Design Details:
- Mixed wheel: 29-inch wheel up front provides traction and stability. The 27.5" rear wheel allows for quick back wheel steering and lifting.
- The Glovebox keeps your essentials within reach. Also comes with a Tool Wallet and Tube Purse for keeping things organized.
- 170mm travel front and rear, a slack head angle and rock solid chassis makes this ideal for finding the outer limits of your own riding.
- Chainstay length and seat tube angle is matched to the frame size so every rider, no matter their height, gets the same balanced geometry.

Tech Info:
- Max tire width: 29 x 2.6 F / 27.5 x 2.6 R
- Boost 148mm spacing
- Post mount brakes w/ 180mm rotors
- ISCG05 chain guide mounts
- Threaded BB
- Santa Cruz UDH - It's better
- IS headset

Loam Wolf
The New Santa Cruz Nomad V5 The Shredder’s Shedder

If you are reading this then chance is you already know who this bike is for. XC pinners and enduro race bois are not gonna be greasing up their chamois to get in line to KOM their favorite climb aboard this beast. Instead, the Santa Cruz Nomad V5 is designed for riders who are constantly chasing fun, looking for airtime, getting sideways and constantly eyeballing weird shapes off the side of the trail to see how they can incorporate it into their ride.

Review – 2021 Santa Cruz Nomad – Go Anywhere, Do Anything

The parts are all top-notch, squeezing out the best performance from the lightest (in class) weights. This mountain destroyer is just a hair over 32-pounds and yet it has the geometry to perform and the suspension travel to tackle anything.

Santa Cruz Nomad CC X01 RSV First Ride Review

Santa Cruz has done a great job with the new frame, making it feel even more capable and comfortable at speed but still agile enough to be thrown around on the trails, retaining the hooligan nature that the old bike oozed.

Field Test: 2021 Santa Cruz Nomad – The Same But Different

Who’s the ideal candidate for the Nomad? I’d say it’s the rider who enjoys technical climbs and descents, someone who would pick maneuverability over outright speed.

2021 Santa Cruz Nomad | First Look and Weight

It’s a big bike. 170mm of travel, 27.5 bike, definitely be fun.
