Life is short, buy the bike.
For most people, the mullet is not faster than a straight 29” bike but for myself, being shorter, the mullet setup works the best because I would like to go full 29er but I do find myself tickling that rear seat here and there when I do bigger drops or hits.
The first big difference, obviously: it’s carbon. The second big difference is, it’s got this really really cool display and if you get all tech-crazy on it you can do all funky stuff with that. Another bonus is the SWAT tool.

I think I could get 5000 ft in this setting but I’m at 4500 ft of climbing and 23.7 mi, so I’ll probably be at 25 mi with over 4500 feet of climbing, in the use of this battery. That’s still a big day on the bike.
The New Gen 3 Levo has better suspension with longer travel, a slacker head tube angle, a mullet wheel combo, shorter cranks, a higher bottom bracket, shorter chainstays, a shorter stem and a longer reach. It’s also got an updated motor and a battery with 200Wh more capacity.
The frame and motor have virtually irreproachable performance, but its spec seriously limits the potential. The Turbo Levo comfortably straddles the trail and enduro categories with total confidence.
The suspension is incredibly smooth and responsive. With reasonable use of the 700 Wh battery, it allows you to ride long and intense enough that the rider’s capabilities end sooner than the Levo’s support system.
The first test rides were convincing, but also revealed potential for tuning the suspension, brakes and seat post.
You can do smoother trails. You can, if you wanted to, do rougher trails.
I say the bike is very relaxed, by way of its stretched posture.
The Levo is a fast bike. I love the mullet setup with a 29” up front and 27.5” rear. It works for me. No complaints so far.
It’s a smooth, quiet and strong motor that now is on par with other brands when it comes to reliability. The bike is at the very top of my shortlist of full-fat e-MTBs.
Compared to this version, the previous one has better power. You have to push harder for it to work and you can see on the climbs that this one was a little worse.
